Pitched concrete roofs are simplest. Metal roofs, multiple levels, skylights, and heavy tile roofs add labour and mounting cost.

Panel Brand & Efficiency

Premium panels (REC, high-end LONGi) cost 10–20% more than standard Tier 1 but produce more power per square metre — worth it on smaller roofs.

Inverter Choice

String inverters are cheapest. Power optimizers or microinverters add 15–25% but recover more energy from shaded roofs.
